Dodgers give considerable protection from spray and wind in the cockpit and, if lettered, identify your vessel clearly.

In winter there is no substitute for a Boom Tent. Vulnerable and expensive sprayhood, cockpit canopies, stackpack/sail covers, dodgers can be removed for valeting, servicing and storage. The boat is well protected, you can carry on working in the dry and easy access to the cockpit is enjoyed through a zip entrance.
